Paris Community Unites to Raise Over $90,000 at Judd’s Pay It Forward Picnic

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Paris community came together for the inaugural Judd’s Pay It Forward Picnic, raising an impressive $90,075 to support local families with children battling life-threatening or terminal illnesses. Held at The Rail Yard, the event featured live music, children’s games, delicious food from Scholl Brothers BBQ, and a lively auction.

The event was made possible through the generosity of local sponsors, volunteers, and the people of Paris. Organizers extended heartfelt thanks to Michael O’Neal, Bulletproof, and Common Ground, who provided live music at no cost, and to The Rail Yard, which donated the venue. Services from A1 Sanitation and Sanitation Solutions were also provided free of charge.

Two families were presented with $10,000 each to assist with living and medical expenses, embodying the mission of Judd’s Pay It Forward, a nonprofit organization dedicated to easing the financial burden on families facing critical illnesses.

Inspired by the journey of Anderson “Judd” Bryan, who passed away in September 2024 after a courageous battle with a spinal cord tumor, the organization aims to provide immediate relief to families in need. The overwhelming support from the community exceeded expectations, with over 30 local businesses and individuals contributing to the cause.

Looking ahead, Judd’s Pay It Forward Picnic plans to return next year, continuing its mission to bring hope, relief, and community spirit to local families. For more information or to get involved go to https://paristx.com/.
